Purchased at the Garrison brewery on my trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige head and some good dirty lacing. Fruity and caramel malt aromas. The taste is also with dark fruits and caramel, but lots of bitter hops with loads of grassy notes. Hints of roasted malts and wood. A very hoppy Imperial ESB that is a nice collaboration.

Bottle from Garrison. It pours clear deep amber-brown with a decent off-white head. The nose is sweet, oily, toffee, peach, apricot, slick, raisin, light spice and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, piney, toasty sugars, biscuit, earthy, leather, pithy lemon, orange rind, boozy peach, varnish and light spice with a lingering warming, bitter-peppery finish. Bitter and punchy boost ale. Decent stuff though.
