bottle from pivnizub - thanks! Clear brown colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty-roasty nose. Medium-bodied, intensive malty flavours with hints of toffee and biscuits, caramel and raisisns, shy hints of chocolate. Slightly hoppy in the lingering finish.

Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured, medium-sized persistent and lacy off-white head; sweetish-caramelly nose with a light mineralic-toasty background; moderate sweet flavour, soft, relatively light bodied; faint bitterness in the sweet caramelly finish, that also contains traces of cacao-powder. O.K., well made......

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a dense medium-sized and tanned foamy head, slowly lacing. Toasty malty and slightly bready aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate, a tinge of anise on a herbal hoppy background. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Moderately roasted malty base with notes of dark chocolate, caramel and mildly herbal hoppy spots; slightly sweet and roasty bitter finish with a delicate hops character. A superb Dunkel. 28.V.10
