From a plastic barrel at the 2011 Margate Easter Beer Festival. It pours slightly hazy straw yellow, with no head. The nose is red grape, sweet red apple, wood, varnish and yeast. The taste is sweet red grape, sour Granny Smith apple, lemon, farmyard, lemon sherbet, red grapefruit and yeasty, with a very dry finish. It is initially sour, but smoothes out to sweet red grape. Medium body, minimal carbonation and good balance. Nice.
