750ml @ Ryan's.
Aroma: mix of farmhouse funk and berries with some sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines, a bit of acetone, woody.
Overall: ok.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark rusted red with a small white head. Aroma reveals a wonderfully floral blueberry character, light funk, some rustic character. Flavour is fairly jammy, with assertive blueberries that have some residual sugars to them, light funk, rustic notes, a touch of earthiness. Fairly jammyβ€”the fruit overtakes any of the yeast complexity. Actually fairly simple for a SARA wild beer. Very good but far from their best.

This one doesn't look great. Kind of a purplish/browny kind of thing, quite opaque. Light blueberry on the nose, and on the palate, again the blueberry is fairly light. There's some acetic notes, and that's actually the dominant character. Less refined than the usual Sante.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy pale purple-ish red with small off white head. Mild blueberry, light tartness, decent fruited saison. Not generally a big fan of blueberry beers, but decent.

750mL bottle. Pours murky dull ruby with a white head. Rustic yeast, jammy blueberries, and some woody notes on the nose. Flavour has a nice balance between yeast and berries, rustic saison yeast, clear blueberry character, moderate acidity. Very nice, but a bit tame.

Intense tart blueberry jammy notes, some oakiness, sourness and funky farmyardy notes, hints of vanilla, mineraly notes, berries and earthiness. Quite complex and balanced

Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is blueberry forward but there are still some nice SARA saison notes that come through with hints of the barrel, some light lemon, some stone fruit and hints of phenolics. Light grain and alcohol notes. Blueberry notes area bit juicy and jammy.
Pours a deep, dark purple color with a small, thin, pinkish purple head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing and small legs.
Flavor is a bit sweet with a light acidity and light grain notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong blueberry notes that are nice and jammy and fruity. Light tanning and must notes. Light SARA funk and hints of oak.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid blueberry saison and much better than the club one I reviewed the day before. The blueberry notes here are much fruitier and the base beer comes through better.
