12oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, resilient white foamy head, streaky lacing. Malty aroma with some citrusy hops in the back. Taste is orange peel, pine, toasty malts. Hoppy, but not as much as you would think for a DIPA.

Keg at Shilling Brewery Co, Glasgow in the company of Nick and Anna 19th May 2017 A busy carbonation with a white head that leaves lacing down the edges of the glass, excellent clarity and light amber in colour. Lovely soft mouthful and bags and bags of hops and wow this is a beast of a beer. This is a big, big hoptastic beer, juicy and with a good bittersweet balance, citrus and pine push through. 650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with lightish head. Aromas of caramel, pancake syrup, and muddled stoned fruit. Flavors of pineapple, syrupy brown sugar, and sweet bready malts, with a short piney finish. Sweet but yummy.

Clear orange with a white head. Candied citrus fruit, grapefruit, sweet malts. Medium bodied. Like many if Silver Cuty’s brews, this is not complex, just straight forward and solid.

Draft - Sweet grapefruit and caramel. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Lots of resin with a nice balanced bitterness and caramel. Not bad.

Bottle from Jamestown S’Klallam Longhouse Market & Deli, Sequim
Light amber color, bright, with small creamy head. Aroma of biscuity malt and manure hops, tomato sauce, iron. Lean moutfeel, a bit oily; the malt flavor is a bit sweet and oily, with a light biscuity touch, followed by strong bitterness; the hopping is quite resiny.
Good but not exciting.

Pours a brilliantly clear deep gold with a sticky, tall, white head. Earthy hop aroma. The flavor is smoothly bitter from start to finish. Medium body without being sticky sweet at all. I’d like just a bit more hop flavor to improve on this one.

Rich copper coloured body with a light amber glow, some orange coming through and a very nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of tons of fresh grapefruity and resinous hops, a lot of sugars, some apricots and a pungent malt note - very nice smelling - mouthwatering, even. Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with sticky resinous notes, some good caramel malt flavours and a pleasant sweetness while showing some good aftertaste. Aftertaste is pleasant and well rounded with malt equally as strong as the resinous and slightly piney hops coupled with an apricot sweetness, some light honey and a touch of bitterness at the end. Overall, a nice Imperial IPA with some good flavours, a moderate complexity and a subtle sweetness at the end. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 27-September-2013 for US$6.99 sampled at home in Washington two days before leaving for Portland, again on 04-December-2013.
