Roasted Hazlenuts & Java Coffee have been added to our creamy Milk Stout to produce a comforting coffee rich beer with a delicious hazlenut sweetness. The favourite beer at our 2010 Factoberfest, this is the first time we have bottled it. A rare treat of a beer, enjoy, once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Cloudy dark brown. Tart chocolate aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tart and fruity, vague nutty flavour. Low bitterness.

Bottle at Chriso Patriks Bday tasting. Black dark brown beer. Lasting beige head. Nutty as far as some plasticine on it. Not great.

Cask@Duke Of Wellington, London. Quite much pitch black colour, not much head. Aroma is dark fruits, liquorice, some mild toastes notes as well. Flavour is coffee, some fruits, liquorice and rather coffeeish. Big coffeeish aftertaste as well.

On gravity at the Three Tuns, Bristol. Dark brown with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of milk chocolate, nuts and dark fruits. Easy drinking, with lots more creamy chocolate, coffee, earthy nuts and a sweet fruity finish. Good.
