Pour is a clear yellow with a average white head. Aroma is a dry pils malt but also a kind of sweet simple syrup to it. Flavor loses the sweetness from the aroma. The rest it your typical dry cracker malt with just enough grassy hop. Typical easy drinking soild pils neither great nor bad.

Very light aroma. Seems a bit fishy, but that makes no sense. LIght brassy color with a white head that tries to lace. Medium bodied, the carbonation renders it a bit chewy, and the hop is appropriate for a pilsener. The finish is lightly bitter, and not so dry as might be desireable. Pilsener it is, but Pilsener Urquell it is not. Decent brew.

12oz bottle pours crystal clear deep gold with thin near white head. The mild aroma offers up floral to spicy hops with mild sweet Pilsner like maltiness and a vague sort of earthiness in the background. The taste is pleasingly not overly sweet or overly floral. That works for me. I get sort of spicy to earthy to floral hop bitterness rimmed with some hop flavor and thin rings of sweet malts. The noble hop bitterness increases some into the finish. Alright. Another tasty lager from Sudwerk.

This one is a pretty classically done Pilsner - so as such it does not do a whole lot for me, though I have to give them credit for accuracy. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright straw yellow color with a huge creamy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was dryish cereal and light crisp perfumey and grassy hops. The flavor was tangy and citric with a sourdough bread undertone and crisp herbal hops. The finish was medium length and tangy with lingering bread and herbal hops. Light body. Ok.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 9/13/11

Aroma: The nose is german malts, grass, cereal, and a little floral hops
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow color with a fizzy white head and streaky lace
Flavor: The taste is balanced betweem the crisp, cereal malts and floral hops
Palate: The body is light and crisp with a fairly clean mouthfeel and lively carbonation
Overall Impression: Honestly, I didn't think this was a bad pilsner at all. It had a pretty decent flavor, it was on style, and it had a crisp and clean mouthfeel. It's fairly simple, and not particularly interesting, but it works for what it is trying to be, so I'd drink this one again.

Pours golden with only very gentle bubbles and a nice fluffy head. The nose is quite shandy-ish with notes of sweet malt and lemon. The taste has sweet pale malt and lemon again. The palate is medium bodied with a nice tangy texture and a fresh finish. Overall, not a typical German Pilsen in my opinion but well made.
