Golden in colour. A well-balanced ale with honey, citrus and marmalade flavours – all from whole flower hops. Best served lightly chilled. Romney Golden goes particularly well with spicy dishes, meat pies and seafood.
Hops: East Kent Goldings (UK), Cascade (USA) & Pilot (UK).

Romney Marsh Gold 4.1% - amber-orange, slightly hazy pour. Aromas of hay, wheat, malt, some citrus, tastes quite similar with somae caramael, orange and a hint of choclate/cocoa. Decent.

15/10/2018. Bottle from Flower Farm Shop, Godstone. As Romney Marsh Gold 4.1% abv. Pours very slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of flowers, straw, fruit, hops and light caramel. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Tasty brew, best I’ve had so far from Romney.

440ml bottle. Poured a hazy straw colour, with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hop with a light crisp yeasty light fruit mineral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Cask gravity at The Bell Ivychurch. Clear gold lasting white head. Good golden ale. Plenty of leafy fresh hop flower flavour. Now that is a tasty golden ale. Very dry finish. Good.
