Kent session pale 3.7% this hoppy golden ale pours s mildly opaque light gold with a foamy white head and a floral, lemon zest and soda bread aroma. Good medium body and spritzy mouthfeel. Nice citrus lime flavor and bready Pilsner Malts. I really enjoyed this new style that combines English low-ABV cask ales with light bodied hoppy US-style beers, I saw many examples of them at the GBBF.

Keg at the earl of Essex. Clear yellow light golden coloured pour with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma is nice soft fruit, little citrus, stone fruit, soft malts. Flavour is light grains, faint tropical fruits, funky citrus. Palate is mellow, full airy mouth feel and really good cask condition. Closer to a session IPA.

Cask gravity at a couple of micropubs in North Kent, one was definitely the Butchers Arms in Herne and the other was a taste of AndrewCโ€™s pint in The Bouncing Barrel in Herne Bay. Hoppy pale session beer with American hops but also a faint aroma of slight rubber that some Kent beers have. OK.
