Draft at Dewey Beer. Dark brown pour. Creamy tan head is minimal. Roasted malt aroma hints at coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is more of the same. Added notes of toffee and dark dried fruit.

Sample at the roost pours a murky deep brown with a ring of khaki head. Nose has big cocoa and brown bread crust, light baking spice. Flavor has cocoa and carob and cinnamon and some all spice. This feels restrained for what it is. Medium bodied and mostly dry. This should have been over done and it wasn't.

Draft at Tap99. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dark berry notes, tart finish.

Draft: Poured a deep brown with a light brown beige head. Aroma is malty, musty. Taste is roasted malts, vinegar. Think it was infected.

Roast and a little coffee. Some lemony off kind of flavour. Black pour without much head. Light bitter end with some cloying kind of tang. Tap at Midlands.

Charred oak nose. Clear mahogany, thin head. Charred oak, raisin, cocoa. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Draft pour at Spacebar. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small white head. Aroma was chocolate cake, frosting, but not overly sweet. Some smooth roast coffee. Very smooth. Pleasant roast. Really enjoyed this one.

Last pour for me @Whippoorwill. Stemware. Frothy oatmeal head, not quite black. Herbal sweet smoke, soft char. Hammy, mellow smoke, savory, fat drenched malt. Breaded & fried malt. Bittersweet & creamy with ample carb. Tasty. The savory smoke was completely unexpected.
