Erlbacher Zwickel hell, Fläschchen von Edeka, Markneukirchen. - Orangegold, gut trüb; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase sattes, leicht brotiges und schön honigsüßes helles Malz und ansprechende herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk weich brotig-hellmalzig mit schöner Honigsüße aber auch leicht ranziger Hefe. Nicht zu knappe zitrusfruchtige und herbale Hopfung. Gut rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang ausreichend hopfenbitter und etwas unfrisch. - Nur knapp überdurchschnittliches Zwickelbier, in dem frische und ranzige Züge sich eigentümlich mischen. Vom Faß sicher besser, aber für einen Abstecher nach Erlbach fehlte mir die Zeit. (29.11.2022.)

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top @ home.Unclear - hazy medium to dark yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, old hay, sour malt, light hoppy, grass, dry grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, old hay, malty, grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111014]

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Average light bitter finish. malt sweet ness very present. nice well-balanced beer. Oily palate.

Bottle. Thanks to Fonefan. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy egg white head. Lots of grass and grain. Lots of sulphur. Dry and bitter. A bit rough around the edges. Medium bodied. Clearly gets better after 2nd poor when the yeast enters and settles. Grainy and grassy. Fine bitterness. Crisp malty. Good.

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is crisp maltyness as well as some mild grassyness. Flavour is earth, malts, some mild cellary notes. Pleasant.
