Botella de 50 cl. 07-12-13 lupulo feroz. Según etiqueta elaborada en 2013. Aromas algo tostados y especiados. Color negro intenso con espuma persistente. Cuerpo medio. Sabor algo especiado y caramelo dulce con toques finales quemados y tostados. Mucho mucho carbonico. Para repetir sí eso las próximas navidades, sí eso.

Bottle at home. The beer is slightly hazy brown color, with a light beige foam head of medium size. Its aroma is malty with a touch of nuts, wood and some dried fruit, berries and roasted malt. The taste is also characterized by much malt, and more of the same from the aroma. In addition I find Belgian yeast. Mouth feel is smooth, and the beer has a light bitterness. A good beer with a great balanced flavor and is rich, but feels more like a solid brown ale, and not so much Christmas.

10.09.2013, 0,5l bottle (#849b expired on 07.08.2013) @ home, courtesy og Jan Ove @ Matkroken for testing purpose:
Nice slightly brown mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, roasted dark malts, roasted nuts, chocolate, puffed rice, caramel, hay, roasted grain, hints of coconut. Taste is slightly dry, dark malts, burnt caramel, roasted nuts, hay, chocolate, hops, coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly thin body. Very nice, has evolved fine since it was released last year.

Bottle from Beergeek, Prague. Hazy brown color with medium beige head. aroma of malt, Belgian yeast, caramel, chocolate. Chocolate in taste together with caramel, milk coffee, roasted malt. Coffee bitter finish. This is clearly porter for me. Good, powerful beer for 4.5 ABV.

500ml bottle, brewed 03.04.2011, trade with Yngwie, via OleR, thanks. The first pour is clear golden brown in body colour, the last dark brown and muddy. Frothy, fawn-coloured head with a solid stand, leaving spotty lacework behind. Nutty malts and herbal hops to the nose, lightly roasted. Fruity hops mixed with caramel malts added by a touch of cinnamon. Nice, refreshing roasted bittersweet ending. Medium to thin bodied. Ok, but does not reach the standard of its two forerunners (31.12, last rating in 2012).
