A beer with a nice, deep yellow-orange color like pumpkin flesh, and a thick, fine and persistent head with orange hues. As the beer becomes warmer, the scents of cereals turn into fruit aromas. These come from the pumpkin flesh used in the brewing process and from the subtle scents of freshly peeled tangerine. The citrusy notes blend well with the taste of pumpkin and create a freshness that balances out the typical sweetness of pumpkin ales, and of some traditional Italian cakes.

14 January 2022. At Café Cambrinus, Brugge. Shared with the lovely Anke!
Clear golden, thin, off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, biscuit, clove, cinnamon, honey, plum. Taste has sweet pumpkin, plum & apple with spicy clove, nutmeg & cinnamon accents over a biscuity malt base. Soft floral hoppy finish, lingering spices & pumpkin cake. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Rather spicy but for a purely 'flavoured' beer it turns out well. Not too artificial.

(Bottle) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, spicy nose with apricots, pumpkin, bread, orange, cinnamon and ginger. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of caramel, apricots, pumpkin, orange peel, bread, ginger, cinnamon and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite sweet. I'm usually not a fan of pumpkin beers, but this one is really well balanced, tasty and harmonious, with many layers. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy orangeish amber with small, airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and pimpkin, with mild notes of spice and hops. Bitter, hoppy and spicy flavour with sweetish notes of pumpkin, malt and yeast. Malty and estery afteraste with pumpkinny notes and herbal touches. Well-balanced and enjoyable. A decent pumpkin ale.
