Mein Exemplar kommt von einer Bierbestellung bei beermarket.de. Das Bier ist ein recht einfaches Dunkles, dass außer süßen Malzaromen (die durchaus gut gelungen sind) nicht viel zu bieten hat. Für den Malzbierfreund passend, aber mir war es zu eintönig.

bottle from Biermarket.de. Deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head, fluffy. Malty with roasetd malts, hints of chocolate and toffee, shy earthy hoppy finish. Smooth palate.

Pours brown from the bottle. The head is creamy and off white. Aroma is roasted grains, caramel, hazelnut. Taste is mildly bitter with strong roasted notes. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. Overall okay but not particularly interesting.

Sampled @ CRAFT Frankfurt 2017. Klare orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch ist leicht schokoladig, mild röstmalzig. Geschmack ist karamellig, mild röstmalzig, schokoladig, nett.

Schöne dunkelbraune Farbe im Glas mit beigem Schaum. Der Geruch ist süßlich-würzig. Im Antrunk ist das Bier süßlich-malzig, zum Hauptteil kommt eine ganz leicht malzig-trockene Note hinzu, die malzige Süße dominiert aber. Im Nachgeschmack schafft es die angenehm herb-trockene Note sich ein ganz Bisschen gegen die malzige Süße zu behaupten und dominiert den letzten Teil des Nachgeschmacks.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. w. swing top.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, moderate roasted, caramel, light grain. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, paper, cardboar, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel has metalic notes. [20111112]

Deep mahogany color. Thick off white head. Dry dog food, dark chocolate nose. Light body with a touch of spiciness, chocolate and earthy character. Sweet malty chocolatey finish at the end.
