An eye-opening amber ale with mint and ginger. It starts with mint, which is complemented by the oriental freshness of ginger and the soft bitterness of Goldings hops. On the tongue lightly caramelized malts join in with juicy notes of sugarcane that help to smooth out the spiciness of ginger. In the end ginger is not the only one that warms.

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Keg. Hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Light crisp palate. Smooth light sweetish malts. Ginger bread and light fruits. Smooth light mint. Crisp finish. Unusual and tasty, kinda the hallmark of this brewery.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is ginger peppermint. The flavour is big ginger with a light yeasty ginger and peppermint palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I really don’t know how to rate this. It really threw me. It was surprisingly good though.

On tap at Borefts ’16. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of After Eight, very minty, not much else. Flavour of mint, ginger there as well, light peppery, nice. Light bodied. I like ginger and mint, the combination works here, so I like this beer as well. Not for those who don’t like peppermint or ginger.

Thank you for sharing BE RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. Hazy amber, little head. Nose is mellow mint & faint ginger, low sourness, faint Indian spices & touch more mint. Taste is mellow, bit thin, thin mint, sparkling light, peppermint, spices, zest. Body is thin, fizzy, mineral,… Body takes it down,… Nice but defiantly would have been better with a better body.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 1. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste are both very herbal or spicy, sweet. Meh, don’t like it, not my kind of beer.
