Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark black, small head. Starts intense malty, roasty, stouty. Dry-bitter background. Earthy notes. Finish more balanced, dry-malty. Interesting beer!

Bottle bought a few years ago in Northern Ireland. Smooth dry malty beginning. Neutral in the back, grainy and easy to drink. Watery dry, malty with hints of bitterness in the back.

Bottle shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours rich brown with a billowing, tan froth as a head. The nose holds toasted bread, light paper, dirt, faint leather. Lightly sweet, earthy, with some toasted paper, faint cocoa. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Drying finish, with touches of berry tang. Eh, not excellent.

Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Opaque dark brown color, medium sized beige head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste malts, lightly grains, earthy, dry bitter finish, bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation. Hmm ok beer.
