50cl bottle at Bittles Bar, Belfast. Pours dark brown with a huge beige head. Clearly overcarbonated and quite fizzy. Malty aroma with roasty notes and some dried fruits. I’m not sure if this is how it is supposed to be, smells and tastes a bit weird. Hints of basement and slighlty rotten fruit in the aroma. Not so pleasant. A bit fruity with a medium bitteness, but the fizziness of the beer is overwhelming. There is something here that reminds me of cheap slivovice, so I’m afrait the bottle was a bit off... (2011-06-09)

bottle, many thanks to jaghana - a new country for me. Deep black colour, dense, creamy beige head. Very light-bodied, almost thin, with lots of roasted malts, quite dry. Smooth palate.

Bottle @ Ulfborg, Early Winter Tasting, 2011. Pours dark brown with a small creamy white head. Nose is sweet toffee and caramel. Medium bodied. A little too sweet.. The toffee "kills" it.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark brown body and a small, off-white head. It’s super butterscotchy on the nose, with a solid dose of coffee like malts saving the day. The flavor too is very buttery, a turnoff to me. Coffee and roasted malts too. Some bitterness towards the end. Medium body. Definitely not my choice of beer, I wonder if it’s supposed to be this buttery. 111105
