Cask @ The Playhouse, Colchester. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, flowers, hops and malt.

Cask @ Playhouse, Colchester. Clear dark amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 170217

Cask @ The Playhouse, Colchester. Pours dark amber with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, little caramel, light flowers and grass. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, light grassy hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. 170217

Cask at the White Swan, Stow-cum-Quy. Dark brown, mostly clear and quite flat with only a small loose off-white head. Minimal aroma, only a touch of perfume and biscuit. Unbalanced bitter taste, with some harsh malt mixing with bitter hop. Not one of my favourited.

On cask at the Bowl Inn Almondsbury. Chestnut brown colour with a thick off white head. Aroma is berry fruity, malty and a touch damp/ Taste earthy malt with a dry finish. medium body.

Cask at the Crosse Keys (JDW), London. Chestnut with a tight cream head; earthy aroma; earthy malt taste, with a thin twiggy bitterness; and a dry finish.
