Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a lacing off-white head. Very spicy cardamom aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel and fruits, a little yeast – distinct chili bite if not exactly overpowering. No real bitterness. Interesting at least. 251211

Slightly hazy amber with a big and lasting white head. Strong aroma of cookie spice, with diacetyl, a touch of green pepper and chili, and some caramel and fruit. Sweet malt, fruit and caramel flavour with abundant cookie spices and some real chili heat. A bit overwhelming spice, but hats off to the most extreme tasting Ørbæk beer I have ever tasted.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden body and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has cloves, cardamom and some ginger, strange considering it’s not containing all those spices. Not much maltyness going on. The flavor is too spiced and unbalanced. There’s nice spice flavors, but I don’t think it’s well integrated in the beer. Malts and caramel too, in the flavor. Spiced, chili burning finish. I ilke the chili burn, else it’s not very interesting. 111105
