12 oz. bottle from Wegman's. Pours a murky, orange color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The nose is orange peel, black pepper, butterscotch, mild pine, and cloves. Sweet and quite yeasty, with a sharp, citrusy bitterness. Medium to heavy body, chewy, and sticky. Pretty nice and enjoyable.

Draft from somewhere. It tasted like kind of a meh tripel to me. Nothing new here.

A brewery I am unfamiliar with but the beer is in one of my favorite styles. Tonight I use my Great Heights snifter because, well, I want to. I lift the cap on the 12 oz bottle I obtained from Half Time and tilt inside of the glass. A dark medium gold color with a skinny top of very fine, white bubbles settling promptly to a skim that stays. I smell yeast, spices and ripe yellow fruit. A taste of the brew, there is apricots, plenty of coriander I believe, yeast, white bread, malt and a hops bitterness that wraps it all together. A full sensation, I approve of course. Interesting. But the spices come too strong for me, I would prefer less. No doubt a beer I'd drink again.

Pour is a honey color blonde with a large white head that goes away quickly. Aroma is blond malt and yeast esters. Flavor is some spice, yeast esters, vanilla and a decent hit of bitterness. No alcohol is felt. Pretty good attempt here. Maybe a little less carbonation and a bit more body to the beer than usual but the flavor was spot on.

Level 6 tasting. Cheers! Hazy amber beer, teeny tiny pale cream colour head. Smooth dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich caramel malts, tastes oxidised, like 45 year old Jubilee beer, but slightly fresher.

Bottle pour from BevMax, Hamden. Appearance is hazy orange with nice sparkle, 2-finger width white creamy head with decent retention and no lacing. Aroma is nice mix of fruity esters, wheat, tart fruit, Belgian yeast, coriander, lemon, mild bubblegum. Taste is strong fruity esters, milder caramel, tart fruit, coriander and late wheat. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and sweet finish as taste with mildest esophageal alcohol warmth at the very end. Overall, this exceeded my expectations by huge margins--this is a hidden gem! Good across the board with strong, complex aroma and flavor, nice body and alcohol hidden well.
