Tight foamy tan head left a creamy cover on a still dark brown body. Raisin, treacle & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a lighter sticky back. Malt, caramel, toffee, treacle & light hop tastes. Drinkable.

From random alco shop in Riga central station. Smell-weak malt. Foam- malt,m weak sweetness, faint caramel, faint roast. Head is small, light brown-white color. Sticks a bit. Appearance- beer-specific bottle cap, simple label. Clear, dark ruby color, but basically,ly black. From - snifter Taste - malty, refreshing, faint roast, faint hops, faint bitter tones, faint caramel. Very drinkable for sure. A fine simple brew.

50 cl bottle. Dark brown with creamy foam. Aroma: caramelly, sweetish, slightly burnt and dried fruit, burnt pie crust. Taste: caramel, pie crust, burnt sugar, dried fruits and some hop bitterness at the finish, not bad.

Look: foggy deep brown with a decent ivory-coloured head of good retention. Aroma: brown bread, rich malts, roasted malt, hop. Taste: medium dry, roasted, bready, hoppy. Pronounced ending bitterness. Palate: light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: a well made schwarzbier.

0,5 bottle.Traditional, old-style beautiful bottle. Filled not too dark, more classic brown with nice cappuccino head. Aroma: very delicious of malt, caramel, and coffee, plum. It tastes easy to drink, strongly coffeey, with a bit of hop bitterness, as well as dried fruit. Well done, good tasting black beer. I liked it.

Hagyományos, régies szép üveg. Kitöltve nem túl sötét, inkább klasszikus barna, szép capuccinó színű habbal. Illata nagyon finom malátás, karamelles, és kávés, szilvás. Ízre könnyen iható, erősen kávés, kicsit komlós keserűség is érződik, valamint aszalt gyümölcs. Jól sikerült, jó ízű fekete sör. Tetszett.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Again big big thank you! Now labeled as Einsiedler Schwarzbier das Malzige. Dark redbrown in the glass, tanned one finger head. Sweet malty nose. Taste istarts sweet malty, little bit rotten wood, later some bitterness. All in all a standard one.
