Bottle picked up directly from the brewery in Freyung, Friday 18th November 2022, drinking this at home Sunday 20th November 2022 after a couple of hours of gardening. Now listening to Oh Sees - A Foul Form. We will definitely be cooking a Rick Stein Fish Pie for tea, after changing our mind yesterday. Pours a warmer gold colour than expected with a white head. Nice bitterness, hoppiness also quite decent, minerally edge to this, mouthfeel good, actually bitterness which isn't so pushy, does linger somewhat.

Recht hopfenbitter bereits im Antrunk. Da sind die Geschmacksknospen gleich in Habachtstellung. Es geht bitter weiter, bleibt aber stehts harmonisch. Florale Noten und mild fruchtige und getreidige Nuancen sind schön abgestimmt. Recht süffig, angenehm trocken und erfrischend. Schön ist auch, dass es das Bier in 0,33 und 0,5 Liter Flaschen gibt. Ein tolles Pils aus einer kleinen Genossenschaftsbrauerei aus dem finsteren Bayerischen Wald.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp hops - grass, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111029]

Bottle: Golden, clear, smaller lacy white head, moderate to solid herbal-floral hoppy nose; distinctive sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering hoppy and pale-malty finish. Nice Pils in the bohemian-bavarian tradition......

Pivnizub, thanks for the bottle. golden, fine carbonation, white head. Light dusty green hop aroma. Chewy malt base, grassy and herbal hop. Medium body. Average.

bottle, donated by pivnizub. Clear pale yellow, mid-sized white head. Grainy malt flavours with a good amoun t of grassy-resiny hops. Well balanced, smooth palate. A good one.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a beautiful blond foamy head. Fresh herbal hoppy aroma with mildly malty notes. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth and well-carbonated mouthfeel. Elegant malt-character with distinctively herbal hoppy spots; dry bittersweet herbal hoppy finish. Clean, balanced and very pleasant. 17.VIII.11
