Gravity cask at the Duchess of Cambridge - London. Pours clear, lightly cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Lightly toasted grass and crispy straw in the nose. Light sweet flavor with mild hay and grain, strong bitter grass, dandelion. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Lasting bitterness on the finish, loads of grass, some lemon rind. The bitterness can be a bit abrasive at times, but otherwise it’s alright.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/8/2014. Golden with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet, slightly sickly, citrus fruits, cereal malts and a moderately bitter finish. Not for me.

Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Clear amber pour with a broken white thin head. A hint of malt in the aroma that perfectly disguises the spicy hoppy aftertaste in the flavour. The complex flavours from this ale hit the palate right away and linger for a while. A gorgeous ale.
