Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, wood, over ripe fruits, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

A nice aroma and good tasting beer, but disapointing in the feeling. Feels like it has a lot of potential, but came short. The name is also overselling the beer.

Bottle. It looks clear in the glass, dark brown in color and with a small, off-white to beige head. Buttery, coffee-like aroma with some caramel. Dry, medium body. Some butterscotch in the flavor too. Coffee, caramel and roasted malts too. Roasted, butterscotchy finish. I expect to find a touch of something port wine like in a beer with this name, not just a load of butterscotch and coffee. 111105
