Pours amber with gentle bubbles and a good head. The nose closely resembles malt loaf. The taste is of cake mixture, initially, then creaminess and finishing with biscuits. The palate is at least medium bodied with a nice creamy texture and a clean but long finish. Overall, a really balanced and tasty ale.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden body and a minimal sized white head. Weak aroma with caramel maltyness and a touch of dried fruits. Weak flavor too, some caramel maltyness and the same generic dried fruits as in the aroma, and also a little bitterness. Bitter, caramel finish. Medium body, quite dry. A decent beer, but really boring. 111105
