A bold English Bitter. Fruity on the palate and a malty sweetness leads to a peppery note for a smooth finish.

Cask conditioned at the Penny, Bristol 10/10/2015. Amber with a decent, white, head. Malty beer, with plenty of sweet fruitiness which kept the Wadworth’s house character in check. Finish was decently bitter. Fine.

The George. Cask. Clear amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Little caramel malts and tired dried fruits. Touch of citric peel. Light finish. Pretty drinkable.
