500ml Bottle - Very dark brown, almost black, in colour. Roasted and spicy aroma with roasted malt, ginger and fruit cake. Roasted, malty and spicy taste with notes of ginger being noticeable, but not overwhelming.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 13/10/10. Near black with a decent tan head. Milky coffee aroma with a touch of chocolate. Flavour had more chocolate, roasty malts and some root ginger warmth, before a dryish finish. Ok.
