Bottle from the supermarket in Geiranger. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, hay, light floral hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a citrus, acid, light pepper spice palate and a short bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. I really don’t get the low ratings at all. Maybe a bad batch? It’s no conventional Golden Ale, but it has plenty of different flavours and sensations and it’s very refreshing. I don’t consider this to be flawed at all.... just a little different. I’d buy this again.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of yeast, phenols, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, phenols, wet hay, and acid, leading to a dry finish. Flawed.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a dense white head. Grassy, herbal hop aroma. Medium body, very fizzy, quite a dry fruitiness and a little late hops. Very little to get thrilled about - and the massive carbonation is rather annoying. 200713

0.5l bottle from #133. This is a cloudy deep dark orange one - almost bronze in color with a medium sized good looking almost fluffy off-white head. The aroma is of the non-extreme kind, but I get traces of gentle ripe fruits, a caramel sweetness and some herbal needles. It's what I would call lively on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is light thin oily. Again some herbal tones in the taste, it's well bitter with earthy tones. It's a bit mineral-ish as well. Not all that to be honest, but still decent. 24.04.2013

Hazy orange body, lasting thin layer on top. Really interessting and fresh: crowberry, moss, mountain lake, apple peel with hint of tangerine and lemon. Cool label design. Thanks to Rune for sharing his 500ml bottle purchased in Oslo and carried all the way to our Rating Session in Tromsø 3.Jan.2012.
