Draft. A hazy dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel with hints of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, spices - among them cummin and thyme, combined with notes of alfa acid and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, spices among them thyme, as well as caramel, leading to a quite bitter finish. Not my hops.

On tap. Pours a clear orangey brown with a creamy beige head leaving some lacework. Very fresh citrusy hop aroma combined with sweet overripe dark fruit. Medium body, sweet dried fruit but tons and tons of citrusy hops leaving a fairly bitter finish. I’d call this a Black IPA kinda beer with the emphasis being on dark dried fruits rather than roastiness. Very well made. 011011
