BBE 2013. Deep amber color, small off-white head. Fruity, resiny hoppy aroma with some caramel. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar, fruityness, resin and caramel. Well-brewed typical hoppy amber ale.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 31-12-13 - as Rouge Red Hop Ale - 5.8 % ABV, at St. Urho’s Pub, 20140115) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, caramel and bitterness. A nice malty and hoppy brew.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, malty, linseed oil and red berry fruit. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a medium bodied smooth slightly liqourice palate

Pours copper with a large head.Nose shows some biscuity malt and caramel along with piny, spicy, floral and fruity hops.Somewhat similar flavours, more biscuity malt and bready notes followed by pine, grapefruit and spicy hops. Quite an aggressive bitterness in the finish.Could use higher carbonation.

Cask på Bishop Gustav. Märkt Rogue Red Hop Ale 5,8% och kanske egentlligen ett annat öl. Kastanje/smutsbrun, inget skum eller kolsyra. Rejäl humledoft med färsk kåda och grape. Smaken är också den tydligt humledominerad. Frisk och rejäl beska men samtidigt väldigt snäll och lättdrucken som cask ale är. Bra caramell, toffee maltsmaker i bakgrunden och mest kåda, men även citrus och nyslaget gräs. En cask red ipa som övertygade.

På fat. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, citrus och grapefrukt. Fruktig med tydlig grapefruktbeska.

Keg at Broadfield, Sheffield - Deep amber with a nice white head. Hoppy aroma with a dustiness and tropical notes. Nice malty sweetness with a nice bitter finish. Good solid body, enjoyable.

Draught (Hanging Bat, Edinburgh) - Hazy copper-red in colour. Raisins, grapefruit and pine in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity and tangy taste with notes of grapefruit, peach and pine.

Bottle @ Christers. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of malt, sour berries, brett, citrusly hops. Flacor is malt, light sour, brett, little citrusly hops. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, dry finish. Im sure the brett / infection wasnt intended, but tasty anyway. 130513
