On tap at KrossBar, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma and flavour are rather subdued, with a fungal quality, bready malt and light herbal character. Not particularly pleasant.

Bottled. Deep golden/pale amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, some caramel, mild earth, citrus and some mild grains. Flavour is grains, herbs, some yeast, citrus and mild caramel to it. Toasted and mildly floral/fruity finish.

0,33l from bottle at Pizzeria Reconqista, Chaitén, Chile. BB 22/07/2020. amber clear color, small white head. Smells old hoppy, earthy, spices. OK smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes old hoppy, earthy, spices, peppery, bit doughy. Finishes light to medium bitter with notes of old hoppy, peppery and earthy notes. OK, doesn't taste super fresh, but still drinkable 6,4,6,3,13

All this time, Chile was in my (Australian) backyard and I didn’t discover it until after I went to Chile - go figure!

Minimal head, medium gold body, heavy carbonation. Soft smell of farts and cardboard. Flavour is an odd vegetal overbearing with soft soya sauce hints. Medium finish, some oiliness. Some sweetness and grain would have been better, this comes off as harsh and a little too sour for a golden ale.
