Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is caramel malt with some fruity ester. Flavor is sugar covered orange slices with some English malt and a bit of ester from the yeast. No alcohol is felt and the finish is sweet. Decent darker saison but a tad too sweet.

Medium amber color - light haze - soapy lace - nose of toffee, baked apples, light acidity, light nuttiness, earthy, rustic malts - flavor is moderately nutty, rich, almost buttery - a lot of candi sugar character, toffee - dusty yeast flavor, light yeast spiciness - light spicy and peppery phenolics - very light esters - tight carbonation - sweet, but nicely.attenuated none-the-less - not a saison, obviously (pretty sure they used BdG yeast), but a tasty belgian strong - tasty.
