Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a sudsy head and aromas of soapy hops... kind of like a lemon/pine soap with a bit of honey or something and a touch of floral. Flavor is a pretty run of the mill DIPA... abrasive resin, ABV warmth, heavy caramel malt. Nothing really sets this one apart. It's a decent beer, but nothing worth rushing across town to find.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a citrus hop with a small caramel malt. Just from the aroma I can tell this is going to be bitter. Flavor is yep super bitter with a bit of sweet malt and hops that hide behind the sweet malt and very hot alcohol. This is not aggressively hopped and the alcohol stands out way too much. I don’t know what possessed Schlafy to make a DIPA like this where there are so many fruity smooth DIPA’s coming out where the alcohol is totally hidden. This is like a DIPA from 1999.
