Golden, crisp and hoppy, a lovely nose of fresh cut apples and melon. Faint velvety bubble and a light biscuit taste with the most delicate of tannins.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#53. Had this once before but it was skunky then. Good experience this time, golden, watery but ok, hoppy-sweet, easy. Gravity dispensed.

16/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear golden amber with minimal off-white bubbly head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, malt, stewed fruit, slight butter notes. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Oily and watery, prickly carbonation. Fair.

50cl bottle picked up at a local garden centre. Pale amber with a cream head and quite heavy carbonation; aroma of crisp green apples; soft biscuity taste, but quite gassy; lightly bitter, with a crisp refreshing finish. Not bad.

500ml bottle: BBE Jul 15. Poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ vase shaped pint glass at home during a ’random tasting afternoon’ with myself on 10th Jan 15. Dull, but clear golden body with a flat, thin white scummy head. Not a lot of an aroma, mild hop traces but nothing worthy of note. The taste was also light in nature with mini hop flavours, again not a lot going on. Refreshing enough with a tropical fruitness as it warmed a little in the glass. Fairly dry finish but overall a beer lacking in depth and flavour.
