Pour is a dark mahogany with a thin tan head. Aroma is dark fruit, brown sugar and molasses. Flavor is a big dark fruit with dark candi sugar with some caramel and finishes actually quite dry. I appreciate any brewer attempting a dubbel and I really like it when they hit it out of the park like this beer. Super malty rich with some sugar and yeast.
