$2 Single from Appalachian. Mojito glass @home. Clear, amber, weak froth pour. Pie spice, charred pumpkin puree, pale crust. Dusty sweet malt, raw flour, good pumpkin pie, light acidity, white bread, slightly numbing spice, prickly carbonation. Very good base with level spices. Could honestly have more than one.

Pour is a murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent enough cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor is again pretty much all cinnamon and nutmeg which is alright. No real attempt at making this a pumpkin beer, this was a straight up spiced ale. Still I am a sucker got a good spiced ale and this fits the bill. Also I liked this alcohol percentage at 5.7%. Some pumpkin beers kind of go overboard with the booze.

$2.19 bottle from Vintages on the Dan. Pours ambery-orange with a small beige head. Aroma is ginger, pumpkin guts, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla. Yes, it has all of these aromas but this isn't overspiced. Flavor is pumpkin guts, cinnamon, nutmeg, cream, caramel malt, ginger. A nicely done, not overdone, pumpkin spice brew.
