Pour is a dark brown, almost black with a large tan head. Aroma is a little chocolate cocoa powder and toasted malt. Flavor is a bitter bakers chocolate with a little char and roast. Brown ale verging on porter territory. This was actually pretty good stuff. Not your average bland brown ale.

It pours a dark brown with reddish hues, mahogany?, small quickly dissipating head of foam.

The smell is a mix of roasted malt and grain, notes of nuts, and with that being said, comes across as on the sweet side.

The taste side is roasted malt and a nice nuttiness, very light bitterness, light sweetness, a Brown that fits my palate.

Medium describes the body and carbonation.

Very good Brown Ale.
