Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt and hops.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of straw, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and metal, as well as a bit of bread, leading to a dry metallic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

shared by yespr at yespr tasting. clear brown, small light brown head. faint malty and slightly hoppy aroma .very faint aroma. flavor is malty, english bitter hopping, true to style, but sweeter and more flowery.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a beige head. Sweet caramel and a little roast in the nose. Medium body, all the same notes of caramel and sweet roast. Hardly any bitterness whatsoever. A Bitter to the sweet side. 290911

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild fruity and light toasted malty. Bitter, light fruity and toasted light malty. Bitter and mild fruity finish.

Cask at The Lade Inn, Kilmahog. Amber colour, fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body, well rounded mouthfeel. Some minerals and resin, fairly low bitterness anyway.

Bottle from Scottish Real Ale Shop. Clear dark golden colour, off-white head. Nose of caramel malts and some fruits. Flavour of caramel malts, fruits, bit grassy. Slightly bitter finish. Average

Bottle at home ... nice fruity maly nose ... fruity malt but a bit musty ... otherwise pretty good balance.
