Our blonde ale is not a bland ale, there is a complexity at play here with a fruity aroma balanced by a hoppiness that makes it a slightly challenging but still quite easy to drink beer.

Cask at L Mulligan Grocer, Dublin on 30th September 2011. Hazy gold with thin head and partial lacing. Very yeasty, cheesy aroma. Thickly hoppy and citric - grass and grapefruit in good supply. Aftertaste very citric. Smoothish mouthfeel.

Bottle. Hazy copper with a medium lasting head. Aroma of orange spice and some nut. Plenty of hop in the flavour, citrus and pine. Finish is lingering bitter, but not overly dry

50cl bottle @ Bull and Castle, Dublin.

Hazy dull tan. Thick head. Lightly fruity hop nose with hints of wood - kind of cascadey. Soft fruity hop, slightly toasty, biscuity malt. Good balance. Some yeasty character in the finish.

wow, this was definitely unexpected. most of the micros ive had from ireland are in the "not bad" range, but this goes into the "delicious" peak of blonde ales that have the hoppiness almost to a pale ale level. fruity and citrusy with mostly a grapefruit flavor, golden blonde in color, duh!, but just absolutely delicious, i cant wait to try the other offerings from this brewer and a great step forward for irish microbrewers.

Bottled, from The Drink Store, Dublin. Cloudy golden, fair sized head. Aroma of citrus and marzipan. Sweet with spritzy, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Lightly grainy and yeasty. Long spicy bitterness. An enjoyable thirst quencher.
