Thanks to Greg for sharing the bottle! Aged for about 3+ years. Poured into a taster showing ruby amber with a finger of tanned foam. The nose shows a caramel forwardness with light hints of raw meat (?). The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Belgian yeast forward with a strong tea like sweetness.

Bottle shared at Ratebeer Tokyo W & CB Tasting. Thanks Gregg P! Honey, caramel malts, toffee and rum raisin bread on the nose with some light cinnamon and booziness present. Body is thin and sweet, but still nice enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Armageddon Grand Cru on 11 Feb 2016 at 00:16 - Score: 7. Original review text: Thanks Greg!

750mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is authentic, with Belgian yeast, caramel, dark fruits and candied sugar. Flavour brings out spiced Belgian yeast, candied sugar and caramel. Not overly complex, with a spicy, sweet finish. Not bad.

Bottle - Caramel and spice with some umame. Clear caramel with no head. Caramel, light booze, sweet honey and stone fruity yeast. Not as interesting as I hoped.

750 ml bottle into chalice, 2014 vintage bottling. Pours fairly crystal clear orange/copper color with a thin off white head with poor retention, that reduces to a thin ring of lace. Minimal lacing on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big raisin, plum, pear, apple, light banana, clove, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, candi sugar, herbal, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big raisin, plum, pear, apple, light banana, clove, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, candi sugar, herbal, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spice on the finish; with lingering notes of raisin, plum, pear, apple, light banana, clove, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, candi sugar, herbal, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, fairly slick, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent quadrupel style! All around great complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle thanks to mikem409: This bottle was very angry at me, first the cork was stuck and after several attempts to remove I had to dig it out with a knife. In the mean time the carbonation had sprung into action. Poured a murky coppery brown with a huge lacing head. Aroma is strong fruit with some malts and metallic. Very hot forward alcohol with boozy sticky fruit with loads of caramel malt.

Tasting at Papsø’s, corked bottle
Orange-amber color, cloudy, with small sized head. Sweetish malt flavor, with some fruitiness. Sweet malt flavor, some oak, some astringency, quite high alcohol perception, ripe fruits. Not bad, but messy.

Very hazy amber brown beer. Low carbonation, dry palate. Dry and lightly spicy malt with some bubblegum sweetness. Flavoursome - pulls together well albeit with the obvious aniseed. Also a little butterscotch caramel in there. Somewhat let down by an over dry finish.
