Fin munnfylde men kort ettersmak. En bra start på denne supre kvelden.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a thick, fluffy white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of grass, custard and boiled sweets. Flavour of tangy hops, grass and white bread. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Juicy and refreshing. Really good - and massively improved from when I last had it nearly five years ago.

Re-rating. Sample as supplier said they now have a new brewer. Similar notes to the previous rating. Some butterscotch though and generally more sweetness than before. Less enjoyable actually. Score this time 6+4+6+3+11=3, so scores averaged to 3.2 Previous rating on 23/05/12 7+4+6+4+12=3.3 50cl bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy lemon colour with steady bubbles and a nice head. Nose of slightly sweet malt probably going into toffee apple, maybe with a hint of creme brulee. Taste of creamy apple and grapefruit. Palate is medium bodied with a creamy/tangy texture and a clean finish. Overall, a solid ale.
