0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before January 2023. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish aroma of grains, some wort and a touch of honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter taste of grains, honey and some wort, followed by a short, gently bitter, watery-dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.

Bottle shared on the train with my beer brothers during the world-famous Bamberg Jolly. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a fluffy, white head. Bleh. Lots of sugary wheat, hay, cereal, paper. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Basic finish, dry but sugary, with more wheat. Not great - even by non-alcoholic standards.

Im Glas sehr trüb, kleine Bröckchen kommen mit aus der Flasche, hmm. In der Nase Banane. Im Trunk etwas Banane, etwas Nelke, Geschmack reißt schnell ab, leicht süßer Abgang. Hatte schon schlechtere alkoholfreie Weizen.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Clouded yellow coloured pour with a big frothy white head. Aroma is terrible, sweet sweaty ballsacks, wort, butty. Flavour is sticky sweet, worty stale malts. Some acid in the back. Very much tastes like an alkohol frei and a poor one at that.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Hazed orange amber with a big old off white head. Nose is paper, grain, papyrus, aspartamic - dull. Taste comprises cardboard, grain, light cereal. Light body, moderate carbonation. Meh as booked !
