Formerly known as Banks's Original until 2010.

The original Banks's brew. This is the beer that made Banks's famous and is still the world's best selling mild - it's beautifully balanced, smooth and very moreish.

A light chestnut coloured beer, exhibiting a glorious balance. Malty with a perceptible burnt note, it's full bodied with a hint of bitterness counterbalancing the rich, biscuity flavour from the best barley.

The perfect accompaniment to a spicy Indian dish or strong flavoured meats and game.

Cask at the Station Social Club. Light brown and clear with a tight creamy head. Caramel and malty aroma with some vegetal notes. Sweet taste with lots of earthy malt and a touch of sourness on the short finish. As expected there's not a lot to it but it's drinkable enough. Lots of better miles out there though.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Nil aroma. Chestnut. Thin off-white head. Sweet with a bitter finish. Caramel and malts. Light bodied. Watery. Light carbonation. Low key finish. Could down a load of these in that it’s so light and low key, could then forget what you were drinking straight away.
