Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, pub that is run by Peter Fowler (ex Pitsop Brewery) 14.01.11 Surprised that I hadn’t rated this however this seems to be the case. I think this was more amber than golden, and with a nice slim white head, in fact it looked superb. Taste was jolly decent, nice fruity bite and decent stabbing bitterness, lacking a bit in the hoppiness department otherwise a very decent session beer. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2009. Clean clear orange/amber, lasting bubbly beige head. Good toffee in the malts. Some decent hedgerow earthy hop on finish. It’s an ok quite tasty toffee bitter.
