1/3 cask at GBBF Winter. Golden pour with a creamy white head. Again with the golden bitters, and this one was off the marks (for me at least). Fruity, and citrusy, words I wouldn't usually associate with the style, and the whole thing had some soapy notes to it.

Bottle. Cloudy pale gold to straw colour with small white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma is fruity and peachy as is taste, background malts. Not as perfumed as some in this style. Very good.

Cask at GBBF '23, day 2, 02/08/23. Clear golden blonde with a decent lasting white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, grains, leafy aroma. Taste comprises lemon rinds, straw, herb, grains, pale malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Rather bland and docile for a 5% affair ... miss!

GBBF Day 2. Cask. A mild haze on this gold beer, good bubbly off white head. Palate is light and fairly dry and flat, no discernible carbonation. Light sweet malts. Floral hops, modest mandarin, slightly jammy but well buried. Light dry finish. Flavour fine, palate fucked

Third by cask, on the second day of GBBF Winter 2020, Elgar Bar. Shared with Finn. Next-to-clear golden body, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Herbal hops on the nose. Mixed taste of oily hops and grain. Okay bitter tail. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).
