Bottle from Blue Boar, Leucester. Whitish yellow, clear with a small filmy white head. Strong alcohol on the nose, some orchard fruit, some plastic. Sweet and slightly artificial at first, leaning into a more balanced finish with pear skin to the fore. Medium carbonation on the finish with sweet pear juice. Not perfect but passable.

Sampled from 0.55 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before August 2018. Clear, pale greenish with a few white bubbles on top. Sweetish, slightly sourish, moderately fruity aroma of green apples, fresh pear and a touch of wood. Quite sweet, a little sourish, quite fruity taste of ripe apples and fresh pear, followed by a short, slightly tart, moderately dry finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Bottle from Whole Foods Bowery. Ommegang anniversary glass. Clear, spirited pale gold. Minerally, white wine, dried fruit, body powder. Strong scent. Taste is crazy floral, hinting at orange, honey & creamy pear liquor. Sweet & light bitter. Very bold. "Organic pear extract" on the label. Different. Tasty for half a glass.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Aroma is straight up pears. Taste too comes off like pear juice, minus the pulp. Clean, juicy, mild tang.

Pour is a crystal clean golden with a fizzy soda like white head. Aroma is pear or apple it could be either one. Flavor is sweet but dry with maybe some pear and I do get a bit of alcohol. This is more like a sparkling white wine. Kind of water and not enough pear.
