On tap at the brewery. Aroma is a bit odd with notes of toasted oats and other grain character that's nutty. Light caramel, toffee and chocolate notes. Faint vanilla and coconut notes. Light bourbon and alcohol notes with faint oak. Pours black with dark brown head and a medium sized, thick, dark mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges. Flavor is somewhat sweet with bittersweet chocolate and oatmeal with lighter notes of caramel and toffee. Medium high bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Light coconut and medium light vanilla notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer but the toasted oat notes just overpower the beer and don't work. It overwhelms both the aroma and flavor.

Canned, 355 ml from Half Acre. Shared with Brada. Black with tan head. Nice chocolate, caramel, salted toffee, bourbon, some vanilla. Quite smooth. Nice.
