Draft at Out of the Barrel. Pours clear light gold with white head and minimal patterns. Clean fruit aroma - tropical and slight grassy. Flavor is grassy, slight citrus and solid dank aspects. Fantastic west coaster.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 30, 2024. Aroma is hop forward with lots of grapefruit, tangerine and tropical citrus. Lighter notes of passion fruit. Quite a bit of dank, fusel, resin notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, yellow-gold color with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is a bit sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of grapefruit, tangerine, tropical citrus and passion fruit. Lighter stone fruit notes as well as moderate dank, fusel, resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid, enjoyable West Coast IPA. This is one with a fairly fruity, albeit citrus forward hop profile. The aroma also has a bunch of fusel, diesel, oily resin notes while those notes are a bit lighter in the flavor. Lighter, brightish malt profile that allows the hops to shine. Strong but not overlay assertive bitterness. Alcohol is well integrated.
