Draught @ Bishops Arms Park Avenue. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy and rocky white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of thick sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, tiny fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, papaya, freshly cut grass, chives, pine needles, minerals, lemon balm, orange zest and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly flat, astringent, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit, papaya, freshly cut grass, chives, pine needles, lemon balm, minerals, orange zest and lemon zest. Nose is close to a perfect fruity aromatic west coast IPA. Taste, sadly, is too bitter and not at all as busting of fresh tropical fruits. This is close though.
