Cask at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen
Mahogany color, dark but clean; no head. Aroma of meat, cheese, caramel, very light. Round mouthfeel, sweetish caramel, medium to low bitterness, a touch of medium roasted nuts and chocolate in the end. Balanced final, more malty. Drinkable (and I will drink it, because it’s called a Barley Wine), but not exciting.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A dark chestnut colored beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and brown sugar. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of malt and spices - cinnamon and more, as well as caramel, and brown sugar, leading to a bitter finish.
